Our Film App is for any Filmmaker or Distributor that wants to distribute and sell a Film or TV Series at a higher return than they would receive from traditional distribution.

You can combine the Film App with traditional film distribution and control what territories the Film App can be used in.

When you purchase Our App we develop both an iOS and an Android App for your film.

All our Apps use “Native Code” which means they are written with the official iOS and Android software development libraries and tools. They also follow the Apple and Google Design and User Experience Guidelines.

Sell within the Film App

Built into the Film App is a Shopping feature that uses in-app-purchases to buy Digital Assets.

The Film App is capable of selling any Digital Asset. 

A Digital Asset might be your film, your script, your storyboards, each TV episode, an alternative ending…

Basically anything that can be digitised and delivered to your phone is a Digital Asset.

You can choose what you sell and what you make available for free.

How big is a Film App


The average size of a Film App is 45Mb, so they are much smaller than most Apps.  

A typical iPhone has 64Gb of memory which is enough space to hold a library of 1,422 films. Your audience can use their phone’s inbuilt Search feature to find the Film App they want to watch. 

Statistics show that once a member of the public has carried out even a small in-app-purchase, they are very unlikely to delete an App. Film Apps are therefore very sticky.

Advertise your Film App

It’s really easy to Advertise your App in the Apple and Google App stores.

Apple’s Search Ads can be used with no upfront costs. You can decide how much you want to spend each month so you never go over budget.  Apples Artificial Intelligence based algorithms decide where to place your Ad to get maximum downloads.

Google also provides a really comprehensive and simple to use advertising network within the Google Playstore that extends to Google Search Ads.

This app also includes free stills from the film, production blueprints and character studies.

Chat to the Director

Our Apps include a chat client that enables the Audience of your film to ask the Filmmakers questions from within the App (released Aug 2021).

This direct communication is a first for the film industry. Think of the amount of times you have thought, “I wonder what the Director was thinking when he made this shot”. Well now you can ask that question and hopefully get an answer.

Additionally Filmmakers can send a notification to their audience about a new release and everyone with their Film App will receive it.

Included Gaming

Our Film Apps can include a film quiz, word search or other puzzle with a prize as a core feature. 

The quiz is about your film and encourages your audience to test how well they watched and understood your film. Many independent films lend themselves to this deeper involvement with their audience.

It turns a passive experience into an interactive experience.

As a prize for completing the quiz your audience could win a Digital Assets. Digital Assets are any file that can be digitised and sold such as an alternative ending to your film, the next episode of your TV series or the script.

If your audience cannot complete the quiz, they can purchase the Digital Assets using in-app-purchasing via Apple Pay and Google Pay. We believe some members of your audience will get the quiz correct but will still buy the Digital Assets because they enjoyed the App and want to encourage more to be made.

Our Hardware and Edge Servers are scalable to meet the most demanding peaks in audience numbers and deliver content from each major city in the world to remove bottlenecks.

Our technology enables films to be streamed over various networks including your home WiFi so you can watch films on your TV.
